On my birthday, we had a fire out on the patio, and Rob brought out some pine cones covered in something that burned with color. We didn't know what to expect (sometimes you get these things and they don't work so great) but it was awesome! He has another bag of pine cones squirreled away.
Today I'm cleaning peaches --Emma and Rob are eating them as fast as I'm cleaning them. Peaches are such a gorgeous fruit.
And for some reason Emma decided that today was the day to sort through her amazingly huge collection of stuffed animals. There's the "get rid of" pile, the "store downstairs for my kids" pile, and this collection on the couch, that are keepers. She wanted to do it in the living room because she wanted to make sure she knew the story behind each one. If none of us could remember a story, it went in the donation pile.
It's hard to tell from the photo above, but nestled in the center of the couch is a real soft animal --Gwen. She slept through the process.
Random piccies. It's sort of like a wordless-Wednesday post, except it isn't Wednesday and it isn't wordless. :-)
